Weekend Wonders
I have ten minutes to quickly regal you with the wonders of my weekend.
Highpoints:
Highpoints:
- Mowed the lawns. This takes me three hours. Did two of the lawns on Friday, and the tennis court (a whole hour job) on Saturday morning. We don't put the catcher on, so you have to walk to the right of the mower. That and pick up all the sticks from the lawn, if you don't want to be black and blue.
- Cleaned the house. I love a clean house.
- Hosted a hens party.
- Went fishing in the rain with DH. Caught nothing.
- Read a Phillipa Gregory novel
- Found out a friend who is twelve weeks married is ten weeks pregnant. In my circles, your generally, pretty much 99.9% of the time married before you're pregnant. So, lucky them, everyone can pinpoint that conception date.
- Found out another closer friend is 17 weeks pregnant.
- Pretended to be happy and carefree about above points.
- Realised that you should never allow people to bring babies to a hens party, even if they can't find a babysitter, or the world is ending. 8 children/babies (under that age of 3), so hens party turned into a mother's club metting. Yeah. Lets talk about birth stories. Um, hello, lets talk about sex and drugs and rock and roll. Ok, so I'm getting way too sarcastic
