Awesome Weekend

The weekend was amazing. Despite the early start to Saturday (5.30am) to finish a fence with my DH, we managed to leave for the lake at 10.30 arriving in time for the 'best fishing' according to the tides chart. And it was - I caught my first fish ever and DH caught several as well. Enough to make the petrol spent worthwhile. My parents came as well, and we had a barbie on the rocks for lunch.

Sunday dear friends of ours came over for lunch and stayed till after dinner. That was way cool - I loved making dinner with the help of the two and three year old. They are such awesome kids!!
