Back at work

Yip ... it's hi,ho, back to work we go. The kids arrived happy and cheerful for a new school term and year. I have a way smaller homeroom class this year, but my other classes have stayed about the same size. My biggest class is girls PE. This is a new one for me, and strange, considering I was the queen of excuses at this subject when I was at school. But, in a small school that's what happens. But I've worked really hard at creating a program I think they'll enjoy, so here's hoping!!

My new hair ...

Today has been super special. DH and I went for a walk just down from our place, Kiatuna today - and after a bit we cam to the rive, and since it was low we decided that we'd follow it back to the car park. It was so much fun. But, since we had the car keys and the car unlocky thingy on them, when it got clear that we could't go any further unless we were up to at least our waists, we decided to get back on the track .... but not before I got the closest to skinny dipping than I've ever been been ... ok. it was knickers and bra ... but it felt like skinny dipping. I hadn't swum in a river since I was a teenager. It was awesome, but icy. Such great quality time together, we have the best walks ever!

Dinner wasn't too exciting, satay sauce with chips, salad and sausages ... but dessert was great (BD!!!).

Nothing else to report ... school starts again tomorrow, with a lovelly long staff meeting ... yeah ... can you tell this is my excited voice!!
